Hi, I’m Stephen. I started in insurance in 2011 at the tender age of 21. Having worked at a solicitors for 4 years, I jumped into the insurance profession with little to no experience of it.
I have a passion for sports but most dear to my heart is cricket. I have lived and breathed this sport from the age of 8, mirroring some of my family who share this passion. A particular highlight was being part of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club U14 team, when I achieved my highest score of 201. A score that remains top of the leaderboard in my family!
I have recently cut back my playing days to spend more time with my young son.
Greatest work achievement
I secured my largest and most challenging case back in February 2024. A lot of hard work and calls with the overseas client ensured the cover required was correct, and importantly, that the client could meet the requirements of the insurers.
Top 3 bucket list
To travel along the NC500 in Scotland in a camper van, own a house, and re-visit Australia.
Tell us something people may not know about you
I have never watched any Lord of The Rings films and haven’t read a book in 12 years.
My Guilty pleasure
Playing video games, making burritos and watching Bridesmaids (the film!).
